Nutrition is very important to us. That’s why VÅRLAKS fish are given feed without antibiotics, hormones, GMOs, additives and chemicals. What is sustainable salmon

Our Atlantic salmon is ASC-certified, which means it is a product of sustainable aquaculture. Sustainable salmon is farmed in ways that consider the well-begin of the oceans, as well as the livelihoods of the communities that grow our salmon.

The best farmed salmon results in the finest salmon products. To optimize freshness, our salmon is transported to the Netherlands before the rigor mortis phase is over. After being caught, the salmon is divided into the desired portions - in a modern factory and with utmost focus on quality and food safety.
